Michele was excellent—very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to understand. He shared so many interesting facts that made the tour enjoyable and brought the history to life. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour and guide to anyone visiting Florence !

Took the most lovely and personal route through one of the busiest locations of Florence — and Michele made it feel like we were VIP every stop along the way. His knowledge and command of the city were top notch. Our group of 4 would recommend to all who are interested.

I joined this free tour tale walking tour, having found it online with rave reviews. I had no idea how blessed I’d be to have Michele as my guide. Catering the tour to the interests of the group, Michele made every second enchanting: weaving history, culture, politics, religion, power and art, into one incredible storytelling experience. It’s unlike anything I’ve experienced before, and it truly nudged me closer and closer to falling in love with Florence, as I realised every corner of the city had been formed with intentionality, purpose and beauty. My favorite fact was the artist’s placed under God on the Cathedral of Santa Maria. It made me realise that real art, is devotion, and an energetic exchange with the cosmos. Thank you Michele – it is by far one of my best memories of my trip of Italy. I am grateful to have met you, experienced your passion, your lust for learning, and life. But most of all, thank you for making Florence feel so welcome.

Wonderful and entertaining tour. Helped my group better understand the city of Florence.

Michele is an amazing tour guide. He walked us through Firenze and explained its History to us in a way that grabbed the attention of the whole group from start to finish. We made a break in one of Firenze’s oldest pastry shops, which was great to recover our stamina! His English accent is very clear and we could understand perfectly everything he said. When we come back to Italy, we will definitely book a tour with him again! Abraços dos seus amigos do Brasil!

Questa mattina abbiamo partecipato al tour „Florence Renaissance and Medici Tales Free Tour“, con Michele come guida. E‘ stata un‘esperienza semplicemente fantastica. Michele é una persona squisita, super preparata, e soprattutto capace di trasmettere gioia e passione tramite le sue storie. Le due ore sono volate, tra racconti divertenti che ti tengono aggrappato all’auricolare. Saremo potuti tranquillamente rimanere ad ascoltarlo per altre tre ore.

An excellent story teller ,who brings the history of Florence and it’s characters to life . Really interesting finding out about the the links between some of the great players in Florence’s story.

Michele covers Florence’s history with knowledge and humor, customized to his guest’s wishes. He shares which shops and restaurants are the most authentic, where good deals may be found, and where one might pick up a cheaper memento if price is the only consideration. He clearly loves the city and all that makes it unique and beautiful.
