Michele’s tour had the perfect balance of entertainment and education. We saw a lot on our Florence walking tour and learned a great deal, without being bored for even a moment. Michele’s knowledge is impressive; he answered questions with the right level of detail for the group, but when receiving follow-up questions, he was able to dive as deep as we wanted. He is definitely not one of those guides who can’t go beyond a memorized script. I will be happy to take another tour with him the next time I visit Florence!

Michele is an experienced guide, who is an exceptional storyteller and engaging teacher. I have done three tours with him over the years, all of which were different and equally unforgettable. Full of anecdotes and knowledge, Michele intrigued me about the Medici, Dante Alighieri, Michelangelo and the many secrets and quirks of Florentine history. When I went to Chianti with him, he showed me a way to feel the energy of a place and savour the moment, which was required to fully understand the history, culture and cuisine of the region. In a private tour around museums, Michele explains pieces of art with details you would never have unlocked yourself, and expands your understanding of history, art and religion in a kind, informative and interesting way. I really feel enriched for my time with Michele. He is a real renaissance man, equally interested in history, philosophy, poetry and humanism. I highly encourage anyone to take his tours, his knowledge and style of imparting it will stay with you for years.

De dochter heeft de stadswandeling geboekt voor ons vieren. Het is altijd afwachten maar we hebben een geweldige wandeling gehad vooral met informatie over Florence die je zelf eigenlijk nooit te weten komt. De wandeling is gratis te boeken en Michele moet het hebben van de fooien. Het is een echte aanrader om gelijk bij bezoek aan Florence te doen. Naast alle informatie en prachtige verhalen krijg je gelijk een goed idee van hoe en waar de belangrijke plaatsen en gebouwen in de stad staan. De manier hoe hij alle informatie vertelt is zeer boeiend waardoor hij alle aandacht van iedereen weet te krijgen een houden. Al met al een Top begin aan Florence!!!
